Photovoltaic Panels turn sunlight into electricity. The photovoltaic panels (pv panels) convert the sun’s energy into electricity. From April 2010, the Government has confirmed a feed-in tariff of 41.3p per unit generated, under the Clean Energy Cash Back Scheme, for PV solar electricity generation up to 4kWp.

Feed-in tariffs ensure pv solar panel systems will pay for themselves and generate a profit. You will be paid for every unit of electricity you generate in a scheme which will last for 25 years. The DECC says “A household with a well-sited photovoltaic installation could receive over £900 plus bill savings of around £140 a year.”
